SECRET BEACH HIKE

The beach is hidden but beckoning ,

the rocks are rough and welcoming,

the sun is high but nourishing ,

the air is tasteful and free ,

the trees are bare but fertile ,

the sky is open and endless ,

the water is inviting but cold,

the wildlife is curious and shy,

the path is clear but unmarked

and nature guides my way

as Mother Earth welcomes me home.
